PVCu or uPVC?

What’s the difference?
There is no difference.

uPVC became PVCu in the recent past to align itself with our European relatives. 'PVC' stands for Polyvinyl Chloride. The 'u' stands for Un-plasticised.

Once Polyvinyl Chloride is softened it can be used for manufacturing a whole range of products (eg: shoes and handbags).

The basic material properties of PVCu make it ideal for window and door applications and can be recycled.
